Section 6. Billing Presentment Administration

Several billing presentment administration functions can also be controlled remotely using one of the API/COM/CFX libraries available or by calling the URL shown below. In addition to the username and password required below, the IP address of the server making the transaction requests needs to be registered in your Security Administration area prior to commencing transactions.

The value for “{secure-payment-server-domain}” is assigned to you upon registration and is the domain of the payment gateway.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must use a Remote Client Password with the remote API. You can create a Remote Client Password via the Security Administration area. The newly created password can then be used for the value of the ‘publisher-password’ variable. In doing so, you will be able to change your normal administration login information without impacting your software. We also HIGHLY RECOMMEND the use of the variable ’notify-email’ which will automatically alert you to security issues with your submitted data.
