General Advice

  1. Whenever you see a word that is underlined try clicking on it. A little box should be displayed with a short description of what that item does and should give an example of what you can do with it.

  2. Always delete templates you are no longer using. This is important so that you can keep your templates organized and will make maintenace easier in the long run.

  3. When you make changes to rule sets for a template always test it and all your other templates to make sure they are acting the way you have planned. To test your templates you must run transactions through your site. Put your account in testmode for doing this.

  4. If you are receiving emails with blank lines it’s possibly because there is a field that normally goes there that has no value. An example would be [pnp_card-prov] this field will not be filled out for all orders. If it’s not important to you just remove the line from the template.
