Join Web Page Wizard Instructions
The below documentation will walk the merchant through how to create a join web page for the membership management service. We will assume here that you, the merchant, are creating 1 join web page for your site. This page will contain all of your membership plan options. We will also assume you wish to create the most simple join web page for your site.
To create your join web page:
1 - Go to “https://paywithcardx.com/admin/wizards/joinpage_wizard.cgi”
2 - In the Number Of Plans field, put in the number of payment plans options you wish to offer on the join page.
3 - Click the “Proceed To Next Step” button.
4 - In the Publisher Email field, put in your email address (your merchant confirmation email messages will be sent here)
5 - In the Order ID field, put in anything you want to uniquely identify purchases from this web page (no changes are required here. [Optional])
6 - In the Cards Allowed section, check off which credit cards your account is able to accept on-line
7 - In the Background Color, Text Color, Link Color, Visited Link Color, Active Link Color fields, select the colors for your join page. Leave these fields alone for default colors. (No changes are required here. [Optional])
8 - In the Offer Subscription Renewal Option section, you will need to select weather you want to offer the customer the ability to renew their account via this join page [see QA number ‘QA20020119001047’ in the online FAQ for more details] (No changes are required here. [Optional])
9 - In the Suppress Username/Password Selection section, select weather you want the customer to be able to select their own username/password at the time of sign-up. If you select No, we will generate a unique username/password for them. [see QA number ‘QA20020122173910’ in the online FAQ for how to show their username/password in their conformation email] (No changes are required here. [Optional])
10 - In the ‘Please Select A Page Format’ section, select the type of format the join page will be displayed in. This is simply for graphical purposes. (No changes are required here. [Optional])
11 - In the Form Alignment field, select how you wish to align the order form on the web page (left, right or center)
The following steps (steps 11 to 14) need to be repeated for each payment plan listed on the join page.
12 - In the ‘Plan Number’ field for each of the plans, put in the associated plan number. This is the unique plan number you have assigned your payment plan listing.
13 - In the ‘Item SKU" field for each of the plans; assign a SKU or unique identifier for each plan. [This should only be 1 word long and each of the items SKU’s must be unique.]
14 - In the ‘Cost’ field for each of the plans, put in the initial cost for the plan number specified.
15 - In the ‘Description’ field for each plan, specify a 1 line or short description for that plan.
For example, plan 1 could be listed as follows:
