Optional Steps:

Verify your ePayments app is working properly, before accepting real payments.

Any time changes are made to your ePayments app’s settings, we highly recommend that you testing your new app configuration. This can be accomplished by temporally enabling the Testing Mode within your payment gateway account’s Merchant Administration area. Then process a test authorization using our test credit card information accordingly. This will confirm there are no problems submitting an authorization or with receiving a response back from our payment gateway.

Additionally, if using a credit card reader with your mobile device, it’s recommended that you swipe a real credit card through your reader, while the ePayment app’s Virtual Terminal page appears on the screen. If the card swipe was accepted properly, you should see the cardholder’s name, card number and expiration date populated. This is how you can confirm the reader is working properly with your mobile device.
